The Townhouse was packed last Wednesday evening when James Lindsay talked about his experiences working on local farms during the forties and fifties. Much of his talk was about changes in farming methods and especially the change from horse to mechanical power after the second world war. Many of the audience shared their own memories making for a very enjoyable evening.
