All those familiar with Beith Cultural & Heritage Society will know that we hold regular fundraising events to fund both the restoration of the Townhouse and also the costs of keeping the ground floor open – electricity, printing, etc. We have held many concerts involving local musicians and singers but next month we are for the first time organising an evening of drama! Symington Drama Club are performing 3 short plays “The Death Trap”, “Last Post” and “Dinner For One” in the Parish Church Hall on Monday 5th September with curtain up at 7:30 pm. Apparently the plays include comedy, farce and a more serious skit and received great feedback when they were performed earlier in the year in Symington. We are very grateful to Symington Drama Club for kindly agreeing to come and perform in Beith. For more details check out our ‘Events’ section.
